One of my websites serp position is different in IE and FireFox. Actually, the sites that come up in Google are a lot different between the two browsers. Why is this?

In short, Google keeps track of your search preferences and tailors the results based on your search history. As you will have different cookies/history in each of your browsers, you can get different results. Standard answer is to either clear your cache/cookies, or use Scroogle Scraper I wrote an article on how to get unbiased Google searches that has some more detail. |
