Lightbulb Can I build backlinks to a Warrior Forum thread and get it ranked for a certain keyword?

I am pretty sure that the answer is yes, but I just want to see what you Warriors think.

If you have the keyword you are targeting somewhere in the title of the thread and then build backlinks to the thread, can you get it ranked near the top of the first page?

My thinking is that since the Warrior Forum is such a powerful forum it shouldn't be too hard to get a thread ranked high in Google. Am i correct? Or am I all wrong?

Very correct. Many aged threads rank well for various things that happen to be in their title.

Awesome! So my suspicion was true!

Just wondering but do any of you have experience of being able to rank one of your threads for your desired KW phrase?

Of course I would build quality backlinks to my thread. Spam will go nowhere.

Also, give me a heads up once you are offering that service, I might be interested

That is one reason why there is a paid Articles subforum. If you are using that forum, but not building backlinks and wisely using a strong title, then you may not be getting maximum benefit from your articles.
