Hey guys,

I was doing some keyword research using Market Samurai, Google's free keyword tool and few other tools. The problem is that I had a pretty big list of keywords that I was doing. Well, Google blocked my ip and it's been like this for 2 days now.

Is there a solution to this to get Google to unblock me? I'm not doing anything blackhat. I was just sending a lot of requests to them. Thanks for all your help.

Peter

If you were sending a ****LOT**** of requests to them, that WAS BLUEFART! The cure is simple! **************STOP SPAMMING**************!

BTW they REALLY dislike a lot of "tools". Each request could take SECONDS to resolve! That is like an eternity AND, if everyone did it, could put them out of business! If they disable the access in a router, it can reduce the workload to fractions of a millisecond and hopefully burn your system out before they notice. They were simply defending themselves. Ever hear of excessive iCMP or DoS? BLUEFART and DANGEROUS!

so how exactly they blocked you , you can't visit google.com as example you find a 301 error or receive lot's of captchas ?

and if your ip is blocked then every time you connect to the internet you get a new IP unless you are using a static one

They just blocked my ability to do keyword research. So if I go to google's keyword research tool or market Samurai, I get blocked. I can still search on google though.

However, does anyone know how long the block lasts or if there is something I should do to unblock them?

Follow the steps that Yukon listed above and you should be good to go. The blocks are only temporary and I think they usually last around 30 minutes or so.

If you're using windows and a router:

        1. Open Start => Run
        2. Type in ''cmd'' and press Ok
        3. A DOS window opens. Type in ''ipconfig'' and press enter. Check the value of Default Gateway and place it in your Mozilla/Chrome/IE and find where u can simply ''Reconnect''. You IP will be changed

    1) Disconnect your modem
    2) Reset the modem
    3) Clear browser history
    4) Re-connect modem
    5) Done

If you've got DSL you can simply reset your router. Otherwise, grab some high quality proxies. You don't need many. Both semi-dedicated or dedicated should be fine. (My favorite source is mazgalici's Public Profile Page)

You must be doing a lot of keyword research to get blocked via market samurai. Your best bet is either :

Using free proxies (test using scrapebox)
    Buying proxies
Or changing your own ip with a router (depending your own home connection)
