For the past week or so, it seems that when I go to any of my adsense sites, the ads are delayed, or I need to refresh a bunch of times to get them to show up. This is happening in both firefox and IE, is anyone else having this problem? It's starting to worry me now because I definitely see an effect on my clicks. What's going on here?

Yes. Some times it happens to my site also. I thought due to server problem the ads are downloading slowly. Some times due to crawling problem also the ads can not be display.

It's not a Google problem. Don't you think that a company who makes 90% of it's Revenue from search and $28 Billion a year would keep abreast of "problems" affecting their bottom line? |

Use a plug-in it makes the whole process much easier without altering the html code.

Do you use AVG? I can't remember when, but recently I had to stop using AVG as it was causing an internal script to run and block ads. At first I thought I had gotten hacked, as the source code would show some line. Realized it was AVG. Ditched that and got the free MS security up and running. I think I actually posted a thread on it back then, but can't remember. It could be some other setting that is delaying the ads being shown. Sometimes we(me) change our settings without realize it with updates and other add ons. I think this may be why chrome is starting to kick butt. Who would have thought that google would be poised to be a leader in browser wars, taking over FF? Not me. But I am seriously considering chrome as my main browser. Okay. Sorry for being off topic there. Paul |

This is happening because Adsense code is not optimized for performance, especially in latest IE versions. The Adsense for Content code loads a JavaScript file from a Google server, and does this in a way that blocks the loading and rendering of your web pages |
