Default Couple questions regarding subdomains, redirects (please help!)

I only want people who actually know these answers to answer!
Obviously I am not naive enough to believe that anyone here "literally" knows google's code or anything, rather people who have had experience with the case in question.
I do not want to be a victim of your guys' speculation lol!
Ok, say that I have an authority website on cars. I am doing some offline marketing for over 100 car dealerships. I build them a website (a subdomain on my own website.) and have a link out to that subdomain on a sidebar in my homepage. I have a link to my homepage in their footer.

Can I assume that this will do just as well for the internal linking structure as a page on my site that also has a link to my homepage?

Also, if I had 1 million backlinks to my homepage, would that power distribute well to the 100 subdomain links I have on my page?

Would I be able to rank the clients pages well because of the 1 million backlinks? Or would it actually be more tough to rank one of those subdomains than simply a similar page on my site?

Another scenario. I have these subdomains for my clients' website, but those subdomains are simply 301 redirects to an actual tld for them. i.e. "usedcarsales.com"
So basically I have "morries.(my domain).com" and the only thing that page does is redirect to their website (usedcarsales.com).
If I backlink this 301 redirect page, will it help "usedcarsales.com" to rank well?
If so, would I be able to change the url that my subdomain redirects to? Say the client decides to leave my service, could I just simply change that redirect url to a competitors website to help them rank?
Would their be a difference using a link cloaker (a page 301 rather than a subdomain 301) vs a subdomain redirect?

Would this hurt my own domain's ranking in google? (penalize)

Hope I can get some answers, this info would certainly help me out!

If you are taking clients, and you are doing things to
their websites that you don't know the answer for,
why are you taking clients?

Paul, how are you being beneficial to my thread, to me, or to the community? I want help here, not some bitter 40 year old fat slob who has no sense of respect. Get a life and stop trashing me in pms.
