I don't think reciprocal linking is a good option now a days.

Common misunderstanding in SEO is that link exchanging is the same as reciprocal link exchanges. YOU DO NO T HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN RECIPROCAL LINKBUILDING to do link exchanges. If either you or the webmaster you are exchanging links with have more than one site then you can do three way links which when done correctly will look to Google like one way links.
