Default Adsense: help about getting forward

Dear Friends,

This is my first post on Warrior Forum so I introduce myself. Glad of being here. I am a doctor in medicine who got a few years ago interested in internet marketing. In that field I am a newbie. I have had some minor success in the niche of dating advice by selling my own books.

I am trying to build Adsense niche sites with the help of Market Samurai and Micro Niche finder.

As I am starting I am testing my skills by using blogger and weebly I am able to find keywords with lower competition and build sites. On one one of them I also got some clicks.

I put the keyword in the site's name. For example if the keyword is "how to build bridges" then I make a site howtobuildbridges.blogspot.com or howtobuildbridges.weebly.com

I am at the stage with my skills that when I do the test site I I find several other marketers on the first pages of google who are using exactly the same keyword as I, usually between 10 - 20

I need help with this:

1. After having found a keyword with high traffic enough (in micro niche finder more than 1000 exact searches? ) and low competition (in micro niche finder green spot) how do I understand is it worth competing or not with the others?

2. Assuming I decide to compete which are the next steps necessary to have the adsense site get more traffic and clicks?

3. Is it better to continue searching for a keyword which has very, very little or non existent competition and try new web site names with that or when is it good to try to optimize the site by new content and new related keywords.

In need of some calibrating knowledge about how to get to the next step.

Thanks Fabio
