Choosing The Best Urls For Link Building

Sometimes it happens that you already have a plenty of pages and you don't know what page should be the target for all the incoming links. Some people don't care and they simply choose the front page of their website.

Unless your aim is only to increase the PR of you front page and you don't care about the effectiveness and rankings, don't choose the front page only.

Only you know which page is going to give your readers a valuable information. Not all articles written by you are good articles, so pick the few best one from there.

There's not even a question or an argument here...it is but just SEO common sense already to ensure that when users click a link, they get directed to the most relevant and high quality content...provide the best user experience...

The URL should be given of that page which has more relevant content and the page to which the user want the traffic.
So its better to optimize the website on that keywords on which the searches are more and build the link of that webpage which you can will provide more information to the users.
Only increasing the PR of the home page is not profitable from the SEO point of View.
