I guess this guy lost interest in updating once he realized he couldn't do math? $100 worth of fiverr gigs = 20 gigs. Not 50.

I guess this post update is indeed delayed.

If it's any consolation, I've been using Fiverr backlinks for the last 6 months to successfully build link variety and consistency. A properly implemented campaign spend of roughly $35 can get my keywords to page 1 as long as I've conducted solid keyword research.

quite nice to see a case study about fiverr - the moral of the story will always be to use the 'good' fiverr serivices and stay away from spammy and not worth it things - hard to tell sometimes - even reviews on there are not going to tell you much. stay away from xrumer blasts etc. as probably those links will enver get indexed. but blogroll links can be good, and so can article submits, directories, and social bookmarks. only $5 so not much to lose just dont go getting all of them in 1 go - might send off a few alarm bells on googled!

Yeah dude..I subscribed and am very interested to see your results. You're going about the SEO thing the right way for sure...very white hat....and once you get rankings you should be able to stay there for a good while.

Looking forward to seeing your results both SERPS and also your income/monthly.

Thanks

Here's a question: Even if you establish a case study, what can you say about it? Is it repeatable? How do you know? So far, I've seen lots of websites try to build backlinks in this way, and some of them succeed (for a while). Then, an algo change happens, and people complain that "the only constant in SEO is change." I find this funny, since some websites haven't changed their linking strategy since 1997. They just do things the old fashioned way and get merit-based links.

Do you mind sharing exactly what fiverr gigs you're using to get these results?

Hello Warriors,
I worked on fiverr and saved some money to use it for my website.I just took it as experiment and brought 600 PR2 backlinks and 300 .EDU backlinks this week. I am waiting for the results and I also checked my backlinks with backlink checking software and found 980 active backlinks out of which 300 are .EDU and 600 are PR2 or higher pages.
Can someone give me some idea that how long it can take these backlinks to show effect in SEO of my website.
I will following this thread....

The best thing I learned from this case study is this: starting a case study in Warrior Forum is a great way to get people to know your name and get people to watch you.

Interesting case study, but it's a shame that the OP went MIA. I guess we can assume that his site didn't move to the top of the SERPs like he expected. Perhaps we can also assume that the low quality links from Fiverr don't do the trick, and one should invest their time and money into some high quality links.

All I want to add is, do not get a fiverr gig to give you 150 Google + 's, or anything like that. I did one like that and got de-indexed nearly instantly. Bad idea!

If there is enough interest in using Fiverr as a marketing resource, maybe consideration to a sub-forum of "fiverr comments" on "the good bad and ugly of fiverr" should be considered.

I have found a great graphic designer on Fiverr , she does a ton of logos for me

I have also used Fiverr for facebook fan page likes - works great

As far as back linking - people did a good job - sent reports etc - but debatable how much good it did.

For this asking what gigs he used - if you read his original posts he does point them out.

You sort the gigs by rating. The best ones are always at the top But take your time to choose and send questions to the sellers, then you will see who is the most qualified to give you better results in SERP.

After no more gigs than what I had originally posted.

(I was caught up with my two other jobs and wasn't able to be as active in this thread as I wanted to, but thought I would return to share the results.)

That's not bad for going from no where to be seen, to being top of second page. How much did you spend in total? Did you notice any significant jumps or drops after doing a particular gig? I'm thinking that being active on social networks and having a camcorder in hand is going to be the future.
