Hey guys, I've made a couple of micro niche sites some time ago. Content on the first pages was wrote by one copywriter and on internal ones by the other. Keyword density on the first pages is about 5% and on internal - 4%. I've promoted these sites by making a good linkbuilding, but no success. Internal pages are ranked ~ #20 (even for main site keyword) but main page is ranked no lower than #100. I've changed content on the first's pages, but nothing changed. What it can be and how to make google like my main pages ? |

1. Competition is to big - do more! 2. Post your website, and people can help you find out what the problem is. |

I don't think it's competition, because additional pages are ranked better than main page even for keyword of main page.

How many sites do you have? You need to do them in batches, like 10 at a time. Anything that makes less than $1 a day after 90 days sell off, anything that makes more than $1 a day keep and ramp up with more content and SEO. You need to cut your losers and not waste to much time on anything. The key to success is to spread you risk as much as possible and liquidate the losers quicker to re-invest in your next batch of sites. |

I think what you have to do is just do more link building for your home page url.. I agree with maile15..Perhaps the competition for the keyword you target is very tight...Your keyword density is ok..Good luck,dude..

Do on-page SEO. Get keyword density at 3% or less. Have your content over 1000 words. Use a plugin like SEOpressor or Easy WP SEO if your site is a Wordpress platform. Next is to build backlinks and gradually increase the number of backlinks on a daily basis. Good luck! |

You need build your site for visitors, not for search engine. I go to your site and leave with less than 20 second. Did you check Google Analytic or any tracking tool for your website? Google add this feature and now the site which people stay more, visit more will have higher ranking without SEO, with more back links, it may change. |
