Of course that Google didn't disable your AdSense account for no reason. You must have done something wrong.

I've been watching these treads and will be testing other ad networks such as infolinks, kontera etc. I know they won't earn anywhere near as much as Adsense, yet maybe enough to build many more sites. I'm guessing and I'm hoping someone will correct me on this, the services which are the largest in the PPC industry are also be the ones I would want to target for Adsense type sites.

How do you work that out? Can you control what traffic comes to your site? i.e. dodgy bots. Thought not.

yeah and please don't forget that even if you sign up for a new account in a different account holder's name but you will still be using the same domain name or website then it will still be the same thing your account will not be approve since the domain/website is also banned not just the person. I've experience that one, i tried using my brother's name but i'm using the same old domain name my application was not approved.

Seems to me there's some googly agents here - either that or people fit only for internet cannon fodder. Creepy forum.

How can anyone defend google saying - 'they must know what they're doing' . My first adwords account was suspended and I got a mound of emails contradicting each other - I still don't know if I'm banned for life or not ! Do I care? I only tried adwords out because google kept spamming me about trying adwords and sending me voucher codes.

Yes, you sad google defenders - google, the biggest collector of emails, are spammers. Abusers of the internet. Unsafe for decent people to give them their email.

Google makes Microsoft, Michael Corleone and George Bush seem like babes in push chairs. Power corrupts.

I also believe Google are breaking trading law in Britain - but then they're smart enough to work from Ireland.

I'm looking at creating a massive traffic generating site by making these jerks look the monkeys they are...

The bigger they are...

Obviously you've never monetized Youtube/Adsense, it doesn't get any easier than that.

Follow two rules:
  • Family friendly videos
  • Own 100% of the audio/video

Doesn't get any easier.

Of course you can't control traffic type. But if you notice something suspicious on your adsense or analytics account (eg. click bombing) send an email to Google. They will solve this they won't disable your account.

I must admit after reading this thread - Im worried about my adsense account !

I did some further research on Google themselves, and it doesn't seem to be uncommon for people to get banned with no explanation. As far as I can see if one rule is broken even if it's by a third party Google see you as a liability and cancel your account :/

Google does seem to need a reason to ban your account and I think what is worse is that once it is banned it is near impossible to get it reinstated.

Google has forgetten who were the advertisers that helped make them who they are.

This is another reason not to put all your income sources into one basket.

Google has not forgotten. That's why they ban the idiots who
steal money from their advertisers....

I think people have forgotten about the advertisers...and think
they can just do whatever they want to.

There is no viable adsense alternative except selling your own ad space.

Just because people don't know all the rules, refuse to read all the rules,
refuse to follow all the rules...refuse to follow ALL rules to the letter...

There are many, many, many adsense TOS rules that nobody seems to
care much about. I'll give you five.

1) Follow all google webmaster guidelines, or at least don't break any.

2) Follow all google TOS & guidelines for ANY google product. That includes
+1, +, youtube, gmail, maps, you name it.

3)Don't have a webpage that has no content above the fold. This has
always been the TOS. Just now people are falling all over themselves
about some new thing from google about ads above the fold. Complete
lunacy.

4)Your webpage had better have a reason to exist other adsense. if
it doesn't, it breaks the rules.

5)Don't put adsense on pages where users add comments. That's one
that tons of people ignore. Why does google say this? Because
users should never be able to add content to your page that an
advertiser is paying money for. They should not have to see their
ad on a junk page. Note: All comments are spam. No comment is
ever going add value to a page. Plus, advertisers should not have
to ever check to see what crapola is added to a page that their
ad is on. Now chew on that one. Oh I know. Everybody allows
comments and mine aren't spam. Exactly the mentality I'm talking
about.

I'd wager that over 50% of those reading the above are not
going to give a rat's hat, and are breaking them now.

I could go on and on. There are TOS that people just don't give a
rat's behind about. If you did not know all the above, well, now you
do. But it just shows how much people do not know.

Read their adsense blog, webmaster blog, etc. They are always
adding.

Paul

yeah bummer dude. Adsense and google is tough to figure out their next step. This is a good lesson to you to not put all your eggs in one basket. Try branching out into other forms of making money, cpa offers, amazon, etc and set up sites that don't rely on one another. I hope that you have some stats on the site so that you can gather some data and look and see where your traffic was coming from.

If you have Adsense sites, don't "advertise" them and talk about them on forums just keep it under the radar to limit click bombing etc.

If you can, have adsense on AS FEW sites as possible and disable on all sites which dont make money anyway, each unnecessary site is another potential site which can be click bombed or getting invalid clicks.

Avoid places like blogger.com and similar which are highly prone to getting click-bombed.

Treat your Adsense account like a treasure and be careful, that's all i can say.

This is exactly what happens more often than not.

I'm watching a thread right this minute where people are tripping over themselves to purchase a service that sets them up with CPA Redirector and purchased traffic which is then automatically redirected (read "forced clicks") to Amazon affiliate links.

Clearly a serious violation of Amazon TOS but most of those folks either didn't read or do not understand the TOS.

I must admit I have not come across this one before. Its clear that the comments change the content (unless its a facebook plugin I believe) but I have read the TOS and have been following it for a while now.

Could you post any links or sources to this. Its not that I m not a believer, but I just want to be informed as much as possible.

Sorry to hear that bud. Try Amazon instead. I hear a lot people get banned, try Amazon and end up making more than they did with Adsense.

Worth a bash anyway.

All those whose accounts got disable citing "Invalid Click Activity" should drag google to court. In most cases even without a single click for months, accounts get disabled by google. A day may come when no one will care adsense and google start requesting people to join adsense.
