It turns out that LinkedIn along with SlideShare can be a great combination for viral traffic. Both have traffic and they can feed off of each other. I made a quick video to demonstrate how the two social networks (yes SlideShare is social) can play off of each other to drive traffic to your page. Here is the YouTube link: How to use Linkedin and the SlideShare Network To Market Your Business - YouTube |

Yipee I was the 2nd viewer! I think this is a spot on idea for B 2 B with legitimate business models and real world connections. I can also see this as a disaster for affiliate marketers (And I use that term extremely loosely here) who haven't really built a business of any kind. Interesting how so many of these social services are based on Google Adsense as a revenue model. Never impressed by that... seems like a model that is doomed to fail. Linkedin Good Slideshare - wouldn't want to be an investor in that. Thanks for the post, of the 100 or so I read today, at least this one was useful and clever. |

I haven't spent a whole lot of time on LinkedIn but as far as I know the people who use it are far more business oriented and actually want to do business with others as opposed to the people on Twitter.
