Hi all One of my sites was ranked in 2nd page of google and 1st page in yahoo and bing, i'm building backlinks to it on daily basis and not too many with varied anchor text I decided to change my seo plugin from all in one to Yoast, one day later i checked my rankings using rank checker i didn't find my site in google but the rankings in bing and yahoo are the same Is this google dance or it's because i changed my seo plugin or something else ? Thanks In Advance |

probably Google Dance but don't know for sure, you could check it out by putting back your old plug in and see if it rises again

Do you have any understanding of what the plugin did to or for your site or did you just install it because someone else said to? If you understand what changes it made to your site, you have a lot better chance of determining if that caused the change in your rankings. |

I would definitely change your seo back to your old plugin, then you can try and see the differences later. I would also google site:'your url' take a screen shot and then compare it to your other SEO plugin once that is active and has been indexed. It could just be google dance but changing back is a good way of testing if the cause was likely due to SEO plugin. I have used both plugins and I know that they do require a bit of configuration to get the best out of them, so it may just be due to a setting that needs activating or something like that. |

Actually i used it after a recommendation and i followed the configuration tutorial, i think Yoast is a seo plugin but it's more advanced

There are some things that must be considered in ranking issue it must be your recent application to the site or Google find some problem or the search engine need to move your site because there are more other websites that are most related in their search query due to some changes in their site's internal structures.

Unless you've been at around the same ranking for a long time it's almost always google dance. Don't worry until you don't get back to where you were after a few weeks... Really start to worry when you see ---> your site has not been indexed. |

I don't think its some kind of drop or ranking fluctuations... Probably your tool is buggy and showing inaccurate rankings. |
