google text ads one under another

Is it within the terms of google to place 2 skyscraper text ads say down the right hand side of my page one under another , or does that make it look too much like they are internal links to other pages of my site?

I'm pretty sure that's okay, as long as you don't put a header above them that indicates to readers that they are internal links.

Someone once told me you have to put them at least 5px apart. I don't know if that's fact, but you might want to look it up just in case.

I've had a look through and can't see anything stating that you can't although I think I will just use the one instead as I don't want to risk anything.
