Was there some kind of an update? Why was I hit?

Hey guys,

Been building links to my site on a steady basis, just added a new page to it 2 days ago, a site which is an affiliate with an Amazon product and I had about 6-7 keywords on page 1 for a long time...

My main keyword was down to #3 from #2 which is nothing to worry about when I checked today, but....

keyword that was #5 is now #35
keyword that was #8 is no where to be found
keyword that was #10 is no where to be found
keyword that was #3-5 is now #12

What gives???

I did nothing wrong, did not blast with links, this is not a new site....any ideas??

I really hope it's temporary but it's quite scaring at this moment since I've never experienced this with almost all my site's keywords at once...and this is a site which makes money for me....now what?

OK,

I think and hope this is temporary, just checked another keyword of mine that was #8 and now #16 but page 1 of Google now has 2 sites (1 on top) that are kind of EMD or have the phrase in their domain as the main page and you know these sites won't stay there...or so it looks this way...

What do you think?

Yes there was an update. Just check how your inner pages ranking. Probably they are all down too.

I have seen this quite alot and it nearly allways comes back in a few days to a couple of weeks. Try not to worry too much. If you are suer you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about.

a lot of people get hit today whats going on ?

all my dropped sites have same adsense.

some of them have on top for more than 1 year.

Do them still have a chance to come back ? or just give up

I have seen this quite alot and it nearly allways comes back in a few days to a couple of weeks. Try not to worry too much. If you are suer you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about.
