So I got a trial of BMR going and I've just got my first post indexed by google. I went to look at it and it's on the homepage which a nice PR2. My concern is what happens to the link juice when newer posts gets thrown in and mine falls off the main page? Any input?

Dont post if you have no idea what the OP is asking. To OP: Yes your post rolls of the home page, but it's alright. Your link is on a unique page with related info surrounding the link. All that matters is that the SEs index your link while it's on the homepage. You have no control over this anyways, so don't fret. | |

You're still credited for the backlink. Those blog networks have to continue cycle content so that everyone gets a share of the pie. Dont stress, just keep at it. BMR works extremely well. |

| For this keyword how many posts did do you do to get it to rank at the #3 spot? Where was the site ranking before using BMR for the site? Is it the homepage that is ranking for that term? Also how much did you vary the anchor text in your BMR posts? Were al the linkings built with BMR pointed to this one page (i.e. Homepage) or did you do some posts to the internal pages as well? Finally how long did it take to get to your current ranking after you began using BMR for the site?

I asked John at BMR this question - he basically said it woudlnt make much difference and even said the pr wasnt that critical. Ive used bmr for quite a while now - whats important imo is steady daily linkbuilding - i dont even look at the pr of the pages the posts are on. If you build links via bmr each day your site will rise in the serps. But its only one part of it - i use other linkbuilding approaches too. BMR is a great resource.
