Default Can I duplicate my blog posts for Squidoo?

Can I just copy and paste content from my blog to make a lens? Its all my original content and would make great lenses.

I would not copy and paste them. I would spin them, and
add at least one section of 100% new content.

Edit: I am indeed referring to rewriting them yourself.
Really mixing it up.

Follow the lens rule, and you are set.

Be sure and add your blog rss feed to the lens as
well. Yes, then it does republish your blog posts
word for word, but since it is done by a javascript,
no content is actually seen by google in that
module.

But you can put links in other modules to your site.

I have over 100 lenses, and at least 30-40 are done
by doing old articles and/or blog posts.

It works as long as you follow squidoo rules.

Don't do another lens on the same article or post.
Then it may be flagged.

Note to article marketers: Put your articles on squidoo,
not article sites. The backlinks are real, and real good.
Plus, you get paid for it.

CarmenDA,

I agree with Paulgl.

A quick way to change your article is to re-write the title. Rewrite the first sentence. Rewrite the last sentence... and then change some synonyms, etc. Even swap out of paragraph with another paragraph. That can be done in many articles.

It is better when you do use a spinner and then humanize it by making sure it reads correctly and is interesting.

Good luck.

As stated above, I would highly recommend against copy/pasting your content. It costs very little to have someone rewrite your content into spinnable format and even submit the content to dozens of directories including squidoo for you. I would recommend looking into one of the services provided here by warriors.

Naturally, with any blog, you will have regular readers who will come when you post something new, read that one page, and then leave. That’s the nature of blogs.

I also agree that it's important to rewrite your content before using it on a lens. It's even better to create a totally unique intro and conclusion and if you can, to rearrange or change the number of paragraphs. Adding images is a great way to liven up a lens as well.

Great answers everyone. Thanks a lot. So If google has crawled my post/page that I want to include in Squidoo then its better? Why?

I'm assuming the Squidoo lens will automatically be higher in the SERP right?

Yes squidoo is great.

paulgl wrote something that sounds interesting but I don't fully understand it. Can someone explain this:
"Be sure and add your blog rss feed to the lens as
well. Yes, then it does republish your blog posts
word for word, but since it is done by a javascript,
no content is actually seen by google in that
module."

How would I go about adding my blog rss feed to the lens?
Would this be the blog rss from the primary site, or the smaller sites that many low level links point to?

I'd love some clarification on this.
