Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask the following:

If someone get backlinks from websites with higher pagerank from his site, he is going to have his pagerank increased (for example: the pagerank of a website is 2 and the owner gets backlinks from sites with pagerank 5-6, it is logical that pagerank from his website will be increased. If he gets backlinks from website with pagerank 1 or 0, will his pagerank decrease??

what's is going on in this situation??

Nope. Every bit helps, as long as it's a quality link.

Also, when looking at PR, make sure you're looking at the PAGE PR and not just the PR of the domain. Remember, it's call "pagerank" for a reason.

The more links the better! In fact, you could get your own website to pr 3 from only getting links from pr 0/1 websites (it would just take a lot more of them though).

Back links from other sites are just like votes for your site. Every sites have its own value according to its PR. We can understand it by this example. Suppose you get back link from a PR 5, 4, and 6 site and you got 5, 4 and 6 points from them respectively. If your own sites PR is 2 and you get link from PR 1 site than you will even get 1 point not loose any thing. This 1 point will increase your rank not decrease it.

If page rank 2 site get back link from page rank 4-5 sites or page rank 0-1 sites then page rank 2 site's value should be increased if back links are do-follow.

No, This is not decreas your page rank but not visit good back link. Also, The relevancy of a backlink site's topics to any site a factor at all in gaining linking power but consistency of linkbuilding is extremely important.

Its not as simple as saying a backlink from a PR6 is like 6 backlinks from a PR1
its way way wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more powerful than that
assuming there are not too many outbound links on the PR6. If there are 50,100,200 outbound links on the PR6, that makes it useless as a backlink IMO

If you have site of pr 2 and if you get links from the high pr sites than yours then it will affect your site pr only when those sites are of dofollow links. And if no dofollow then also it will be helpful for higher rank but indirectly.
And if you get links from the low pr sites than yours then it does not mean that it will decrease your site rank but the condition is that you need to provide the quality content in your submission.
