Hey there, I've been rather busy last few weeks, building websites with quite a lot of content. Now I am to start backlinking those sites. I have already produced quality spun content (paragraphs spun 5 times, each sentence within the paragraphs 5 times and then word by word, all manually). All the sites are in the same niche, meaning I intend to use the same spun content for backlinks to all the sites. Now my question is, can Google spot my footsteps in backlinking? I've got thousands of spun versions of the articles, I can upload them to blog networks and sometimes links to one site and sometimes to another. Well, the sites are hosted on the same server. I also wanted to make some backlinks on forums - Can I include links to all the sites as a signature without having to worry about Google noticing my artificial backlinking efforts? |

Yes, Google can spot your footsteps in back-linking. So Don't Try Artificial back-linking. Artificial back-links may be helpful but not for sure. These back-links have no value in Google's Eyes. So Try manual methods 4 back-linking. Best regards. |

| As "artificial backlinking" I mean all backlinking I do myself - without other people linking to my site. A little misunderstanding here.

As long as your content is not appreciably similar to each other, there is no harm in publishing spun content. And Yes, Google can follow your backlinks... And your practice is sounding a little spammy to me. I mean, thousand of spun version is something big... I just want to say, Be careful. |

This technique will not help you a lot. Instead of doing this. Use fresh and unique article. Fresh and unique article will give you a better result.

You can link to wherewer you like with the spun content as long as it is spun good enough. You will not get as much value as if it was unique content though as Google will most probably figure some if not all of it out.
