How to do seo for google worldwide

Most of us here do SEO based on google.com, which means it's targeted at US traffic. How do I do SEO that targets global traffic that includes google.co.uk, google.com.sg, and so on? Is there any courses that touches on this? Or is this not possible?

There are certain guidelines to do that. For an example you should have tld from the same region and your hosting server should be there. Moreover your can change settings in GWT. There are too many ways to handle that. You should research some stuff around it.
