If you want to start, start small. You stated you are doing local SEO and if that's the case I suggest expanding that even further. You wouldn't want to be inexperienced in the SEO field and have someone ask you a tough question and give them the wrong answer, so constantly keep improving your knowledge as well. Here's something that can definitely help you out: 2011 Search Engine Ranking Factors | SEOmoz |

When I started operating my SEO business I started with 1 client, and I locked the doors for a whole month to care for just this one client. It is right that you have to start small and implement systems that will automate your work with databases, outsourcers, personal assistants, etc. But build one step at a time. Why not start by finding clients in the WarriorForum? You can start a WSO for just $40 that should bring you in a few new clients. |

Hi Roy, There are lots of ways to find clients online. I want to help you but i do not want to expose all of my techniques here. :P . I can say that you start off by searching locally around your neighborhood. "Rome was not built in a day" Take it slowly but surely. Also, You will learn a lot of things along the way. Try to call local businesses and offer them your service. It's worth giving a try. |
