Default Linking my sites together for backlinks

If I have a shared host and "unlimited" hosting plans, if I build 20 simple websites or blogs, all on the same nameserver / IP and I link back to those sites, does Google get angry for actions like this?

Hi, You just need to put quality content to get traffic towards your website because I think name server is same but due to different names it could be beneficial.

It may and may not...

Legitimacy of cross linking depends on many factors, like,
- Are cross linked websites are business related?
- What is the number of cross-linked websites? (if you are doing it in mass, it may harm you)
- Are these websites adding something into user experience?

If your linked blogs / websites are doing everything according the guidelines.... Go ahead!

Funny how this part of the forum is filled with sniffles about
panda, and yet, still, over and over people just don't want
to follow the big boys. Every big site, from ebay to gasbuddy,
from zap2it to icanhazcheezburger, from amazon to wikipedia,
from go.com to about.com, ALL CROSSLINK and they do it
en masse, across multiple domains, even many on the same IP.

And still, people just can't get a grasp on this concept. That
somehow it's bad, somehow it gets you penalized...

The only surefire, 100% guaranteed backlinks are on your own
sites. Still a big secret.
