Productx vs Producty keyword

Is productx vs producty a good buyer keyword?
Im trying to find good keywords for a comparison/review type site.

What is your traffic strategy? SEO? PPC?
This type of keyword might not get a lot of searches depending on the popularity of the product. So if you are going to use seo for this... it might not be worth the effort (the time and amount of work). Best to test those keywords on PPC traffic first to see traffic volume and conversion rate.

How about trying for keywords like compare productx or compare 'laptop' price for example?

The plan is SEO. The search volume for the productx vs producty keywords is 1,000 local exact and 1600 global exact and approx cpc is $6 using google keyword tool and searching google using "" marks .. it shows 164,000 search results. When i search the keyword regularly there is only 1 google ad.
