Default A question for a real SEO Master?

I am optimizing a web site for "p90x2" and some other relevant keywords with same amount of competition. the domain is one year old.
And i start optimizing it for atleast 2 months.
Now thing is that when after 2 weeks of work the website appears on first page of google for two days and then it went back to 3rd page. I know that it was google dance. But after that the website is strict to the same position. I mean to say that 1.5 months have passed and the site havn't moved a bit. Can You please tell me that whats problem?

Thanks.

Just continue with the link building but just change the technique and switch over to the others. A variation in type of links will help improve the rankings.

Don't be disappointed focus on content. Remember one thing

"Don't build links with same anchor text. use some variations as well. It will look more natural.

Being that you gave pretty much zero information about anything you have done, I can only give a guess.

My guess would be that there are approximately two pages worth of websites that have better backlinks than you, continue to build better backlinks than you, have better onpage SEO factors, and probably have better content than you.

Just a guess though.

There is no problem. Just need more time and more backlinks. Don't expect to get ranked overnight, ranking takes time.

What I do mostly is to keep building links and keep building good content regarding my niche. I'm more like a newbie though, but that works for me.

I mostly think that nobody knows how Google ranks pages. Both variety and consistency is important so do a lot of both. Since you're optimizing a web site on a product, the product may have caught steam and more people are promoting it, thus more competition for you. Try ranking for other keywords, that may do the trick.
