Default WOW...Microsoft Adcenter Does NOT Want Me To Pay Them Over $2500 in Ad Fees

I was amazed today when my Adcenter account was frozen....so I called them and they said my credit card had declined for the payment therefor my account is now inactive....they said I could never open another account with them using the same credit card or name...and so I asked them... how am I supposed to pay you for the $2500 in ad expenses?

She said "unfortunately you cannot pay us with that card"...I said..."well then I guess I cannot pay you, cause that's the only one I have to use, so please re-activate it and I will pay..."

She said sorry I guess you cannot pay...then she went on to tell me to open a new account with a new name and address and new card....LOL

What kind of business are they running? Is this a joke?

Hi Freddyfortunes,

I have had so many issues with them and the sad part, they are so much better to work with then Adwords and Google!

I have 4 accounts now with 4 different credit cards for crap just like that. I could be running smooth, ad 2nd campaign and then, out of no where my impressions stop. All of them! Then I get an admin on the chat line and they proceed to find stuff wrong with my original campaign. I usually have to get through 4 of them before someone has a clue. Then it's the standard 10 days to reactivate my account. I was losing money before I just decided to get another account, and then another and then another.

Imagine how much money someone could make if they ran a really great ad system. I've tried Miva and 7Search. I"m not going to bad mouth them, but so far no luck.

I would open up another account and see if they ever come after the $2,500.

That's really weird. It's almost like she's suggesting that you fraudulently open an account under a fictitious name and address if that's even possible. I mean, they would check your social security number, I assume.

That is EXACTLY what she is asking me to do...and for the record I have asked her to email me a summary of her conversation and will have it soon...

Thanks for the input I am opening a new account...

As for 7search have you tried to ask support to give you the ability to track IP, and domain referrals? There are a lot of companies in other countries that fraudulently send traffic to 7search ads but once you have the ability to block those IPs and domains you might find better results...

She just called me back...I think she clued in once she started typing out her email LOL....

Anyway...she asked that we resolve the issues with this account before I try and open any others...

So I think we can fix this account...

Yeah I have had several instances where they deactivate my entire adcenter account based off of one campaign. It is very hard to get a straight answer about what is wrong with the campaign and even harder to get the account reactivated.

Do you think it is possible to setup a new adcenter account everytime you want to start a new campaign?

So you would have 50 accounts for 50 campaigns?

I wonder how strict they are about this?

It just seems like a safer way to add new campaigns while keeping your old campaigns in tact.

PayPal needs to learn how to kick rocks.

OP, you're going to need to pay the balance before the other account's ads go live.

Take care of them and they'll take care of you.
