Default Adwords Sales Page

I have an eBook with a standard sales page. I'm thinking about using adwords to sell it but I know it's very hard to comply with their terms of service.

I know I at least need a "Terms of use" and "Privacy policy" page in order to use adwords. I have no idea what I would put in them though.

Also, are you allowed to use adwords if the like takes you straight to a sales page? (Note:there are no affiliate links on my website. It's all content that I own)

Simple advice would be to run your keyword in Google's search box and pop open a bunch of competing websites who are already paying for your keyword.

Look at their page structure, their terms of use, privacy policy, everything they have on their page. Open their links, snoop around a bit, take notes. Then devise a structure you're going to use for your website. Test your page with adwords and wahlah... if they deny, change some stuff up based on their criticisms. If they accept, you're in business.

As for affiliate links, Google doesn't like certain websites, CB for instance, they won't even talk to you if you have an affiliate link going to CB. In fact, they'll kindly ask you to never to speak to them again.

On the other hand, Google actually runs affiliate programs themselves, I doubt they would deny an affiliate link that came from their network, however, I've never tried to run a promo from their affiliate network. I usually just steer clear of affiliate links all together.

Not sure if you saw my response in the other forum...

Anyway, Privacy Policy is key, you also need a contact us link with an address an email and phone number.

You should consider starting with a 2nd tier PPC platform (7search), the clicks will be way cheaper and you can figure out what keywords are converting before you bring it to the big leagues and pay big money for clicks...

TEST TEST TEST - Good Luck!~
