Hi. I plan to earn some extra money with micro niche sites monetized with Google Adsense. Lately, I heard many people complaining that they have been banned by Google for no reason. How can this be? Would you recommend to start with Adsense or isn't it worth the effort? What can i do to be not banned? Thanks in Advance and Have a good day |

I've been earning money with the same Adsense account every single day for 5 years. Follow the Adsense TOS, you'll be ok. |

I think you have to realize one thing and this is something I had to learn also (nobody is 100 percent sure of anything of course) I also had that thought why take the risk on adsense being banned but you also have to realize there are a lot of idiots online, and the ones that get banned for simply not even reading the TOS will of course come and cry on the board WHY WAS I BANNED then you have smart people who try to game the system. there are tons of scammers on the net also, who think they are smarter than Google, and thats not someone you want to mess with They will put CLICK ON THESE ADS AND HELP ME OUT............Or THESE ARE GREAT SITES, ..............similar type to get people to click on the ads..............Google forbids this text above the ads.............and of course this will get the acct banned or you have people who get their friends to click on their ads, and think they can get away with it. Never ending supply of stupid people on the net, Seriously Also you have a TON of people who English is not their first language. so they may have difficulty understanding the TOS exact rules etc etc etc I used to have a pay per click banner program for a hair site I owned back in the 90s. I paid webmasters 10c per click if they put the ads on their sites. I did not even have to use algorithms i had a very simple way to know if they were cheating, one was simply the size of their clicks coming in vs the number of information forms the visitors to the site filled out. Course I did not tell the webmasters that. I would say 80 percent of the people who signed up I kicked out of the program after the first 2 weeks. for cheating. thats how prevalent cheating is by webmasters. So as you can See I am sure Adsense has to deal with these same people. Also I tracked sales coming in from each advertiser. Lets say you were advertiser 156 , any order coming in from people clicking on your banner would come to me as ProductOrder156 instead of just saying ProductOrder on it. Believe me Google does the exact same thing somehow. They track sales of their advertisers coming from YOUR Adsense site. Dont tell me you dont know this. Its very easy to do, and if your site produces no sales for their advertisers, they assume you are scamming them somehow. (which is probably true) |

My adsense earnings are slowly starting to count for the majority of my earnings. As mentioned above, stick to their TOS AND their webmaster guidelines and you should have no problems. They are however becoming a lot more strict and micro niche sites do not work quite as well as they used to in the past. Try not to build sites exclusively for adsense...build a site with the sole aim of providing the user with the EXACT information they were searching for and always include additional pages of content on the site - mine always have at least 8 pages of content. I have found that adsense on these types of sites does particularly well...

Anyone running small sites, IMO, dump low converting existing sites/keywords & focus on expanding your best converting sites. If you have a single small site making $10-$20+ a day, scale that keyword up BIG time! Expand the site to target related keywords. Move on to the next best performing site, & scale up again with more related keywords that's already converting well. Before you know it, you'll stand a very good chance of doubling your current Adsense earnings, without building new sites, just by expanding keywords/pages of known well performing niche/keywords. Everyone should be tracking their long-tail keywords for existing Adsense sites anyways, that's your ticket to more keyword ideas, just build the new pages...

Remember people make money off of Adsense only because Adword advertisers make more off the traffic that clicks on the ad on their site. You are not using your noggin by not eventually moving your own product or service on your site. Sage advice is that you are not in business for yourself until you control how much you charge and how much you make and what you do with your product. With adsense you have no lasting control. They can lower the fee paid to you, change the rules or tell you good bye if they want to. So certainly you can start with adsense. Just make sure you have the good sense to be into much more than that in the years to come.

They will always try & say better ways exist besides Adsense. Take it from someone that knows & actually has Adsense sites, I'm 100% debt free, own my house/land + 3 cars because of Adsense. Each person has to make their own decisions, all I know is I get my Adsense checks each month & have no complaints... It's always good to diversify, just like picking stocks, you wouldn't put 100% of your money into a single stock. Still, Adsense is worth the time it takes to get it right.

I try & keep an eye on longtail traffic then build out new pages to cater to that crowd. I monitor my longtails for each individual WP site with WordPress › SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 « WordPress Plugins You can set that plugin up to only show the longtail keywords on the WP Admin, If that's all you want is to monitor the longtail traffic. That plugin is awesome, makes related keyword research easier.

As with any business, there is always a risk. Even doing business in general is a risk, as the most stable businesses or industries can eventually be eliminated or fade into the black someday. With that said, you determine how much risk you choose to take on. If you engage in practices that are questionable, obviously you bear more risk. Stick to the rules and play the game right, you bear the least risk. I see a lot of people complain about their Adsense accounts being banned, yet when I see their websites or learn more about their marketing strategies, it's always easy to see why their account was eliminated. Some people just don't get it. Like others have said, I wouldn't use Adsense as my only source of income, as it's always good to vary up your income streams. Still, Adsense is one of my favorite ways to earn money because it is essentially hassle-free. |

When you target a niche you've never tested before, a small 8 page site is perfect. Keep in mind just because you have a small 8 page site doesn't mean you have to include Adsense on that site (yet). What I'm trying to say is, test the waters, rank the new niche/keyword in the SERPs, does the traffic really exist? If the traffic is good, build out the site with more related pages, then add Adsense to the site, let the site sit & see what the traffic does for a week or two, then tweak your Adsense Ads (color, size, location, etc...). I'm sure a lot of guys just slap up an 8 page site & call it a day, that I wouldn't advise, it's actually a crappy concept.

| If you use that plugin, check out this forum thread about the plugin & how to remove any footprints. A few of those comments on that thread are a bit paranoid about the plugin, lol. ![]() Remove the footprint & no hyperlinks, your good to go. Or just turn off all settings & monitor the longtail keywords in the WP Admin like I mentioned above. |

| OP also bare in mind that in multiple threads here at WF there are people claiming income, success and know how that they can't back up with any evidence. They could just as well be kids in their Momma's basement not even old enough to have a Paypal account. Its the nature of forums. Never build your outlook on forum posters only on what makes sense. I wrote what I wrote in this forum based on the facts. If an adsense click pays you a dollar then rest assured the guy that paid that money to get that click is making WAAAY more than a dollar off the click from your traffic. Only makes sense to keep your eye on that and where you can be that guy making more. Short term look adsense . Down the line look to be an owner as well. |

I take your point on signatures but I got to tell you there is one thing I do like about signatures that lead to WSOs - I at least know that the person as a member has access to a Paypal account That can take business payments. Not much but its something. As you know one of my greatest concerns on this forum are people especially newbies (but not always) that make all kinds of claims and you don't know if they have a dime , old enough to access a credit card or are even of legal age to know how to run a business but yet here they are making all kinds of claims. So sometimes the links are at least some indication toward those things.

↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ Lol, Paypal account, ha, ha! ![]() That's about as difficult as trying to get an Ebay account, lol. ![]() This is an Adsense thread, take the crazy comments to the backlink spamming threads. Do you even have an Adsense account, I don't think you do since your always ripping on Adsense people? You've done hijacked enough threads, go away. |

![]() I recommend to the OP that he can in fact use adsense safely and should . Clear as day. The only thing that you could possibly find offensive is me telling him that later he should get into things where he has more control. Objecting to that is just the typical kiddie stuff that runs down this board. In grown up business you ALWAYS work toward havig more control of your business. Again as for it being an adsense thread. You go that right. lets keep on topic and whining about signatures is about as offtopic as you can get. On an IM board its particularly hilarious.
