Should I Buy Backlinks from Fiverr or Create them myself for my Youtube videos...

I have been in a struggle for the past week and half to get one of my Youtube videos back on the first page for some very competitive keywords. I've read that backlinking to the videos can help (although there seems to be quite a debate about this). I think we just had some beginner's luck.

I posted some info on another post, but it was deleted for some reason. Maybe I posted in the wrong section, I dunno. Anyway, what I would like to know is would it be wise to some backlinks from Fivverr or create them myself?

I'm still in the learning phase creating links myself, but want to stay in Youtube's good graces but would also like to speed things along. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you rank for very competitive words? And do you notice that you start to rank after you've start backlinking or before?

Are you engaged in normal link building/SEO activities for your other properties? If so, I would just start embedding your youtube videos to articles, blog posts, web 2.0 posts that are you building anyway for your other SEO efforts.

Hi Dtang,

I haven't quite started the link building process for the videos. But I am going to start it now. I was also thinking about doing a press release to receive some backlinks naturally as well.

Are you suggesting I do this in addition to buying a gig on Fiverr or doing this instead of buying a gig on Fiverr?

..like youtube comments,bookmarking your videos,votes,promote to twitter-facebook,guaranteed thousand views e.t.c.

Yeah, I saw those and was a bit overwhelmed if I can be honest

. I guess I will just go through them one-by-one and see what they have and check out their ratings and reviews.

Ya, Fiverr really sppeds things up, so if you have a little cash to invest, I think you will find fiverr gigs to be worth it.

What's your time worth? If its not worth $5/hour (or even heck $5/2-3 hours) then by all means create them yourself.

Personally I outsource linkbuilding, I enjoy life far too much to manually build links like that.
