For those of you without your own domain yet, this is how you can get some content on the first page of the SERPs.

Use Typepad, sign up for free. Then find a keyword that has a decent amount of searches each month, from 500 to 1,000 exact searches will usually be good for this method.

Then go to Google and type in this with your keyword :

allintitle:blue widgets

(Blue Widgets is only an example. )

If you get less than 1,000 results, this will usually work. Less than 500 is even better.

Then post an SEO optimized 400 to 500 word article with your keyword repeated about 3 times in the article.

Publish the post and bookmark the post using Digg, Stumbleupon, Folkd, and maybe Amplify, Tweet it, and maybe a Facebook post as well.

In most cases, this will get the post on the first page of SERPs within a day or after a couple of days.

Promote your offer or capture e-mails as you see fit.
