Hi... In the past 2 weeks i trying to research on google keywords tool and semrush to get better keywords in cpc and exact local search... Here's the things i found that drive me crazy... Test on one keywords - ( not mentioned here ) Google keyword tool - Local search - 2900 Cpc $6.88 Semrush - search volume - 790 cpc $080 What the hell of that? ![]() Need some explanation here which one tool can be trusted? |

Google is really off from my experience, I would even go so far as to say that they purposely inflate the number of visitors on some keywords. In any case, make sure you're checking "exact" and not "broad" when using the gkwt. |

I would go with exact match search volume and don't trust SEM, they are way off!

Hi FendyAziz, Google is real data and Semrush is an estimate. Keep in mind that a search doesn't equal a click and CPC for the same search varies a great deal depending on the ad position and quality score of the advertiser. |

Some time error can be generated in any tool or software but google add word tool is more reliable. So you should Go for Google add word tool fore sure.

I agree with dburk, now the real question is whether to trust google exact keyword cpc, or this new tool they mention in the other thread on google called contextual targeting tool. I've been getting vastly different estimates. |
