Recently I have begun to use the site fiverr.com in order to buy Links, Backlinks, and Facebook likes. I figured by doing this I could hit the ground running in accordance to my website. I was wondering what you guys think about this strategy, or know your uses of the site as a vehicle to pay a little to get some mass. |

You get what you pay for. I don't think you can expect too much quality work for $5. That being said, something mundane like social bookmarking, go for it. I don't think you are going to find many, if any, gigs that are really going to boost your rankings for anything the least bit competitive. |

Any tips on what is deemed effective. Ive spent maybe 100 bucks on the site with varying degrees of success. Mostly get good Facebook booms, but I am not sure if they are even real accounts. | |

I've had luck with some, others were stupid and pointless. I've had success with some linkwheel gigs, and writing gigs. |

I've found fiverr is great for creating headers and logos etc for Niche sites. Also some very good video creators on there too. As far as backlinks go there are a couple of decent gigs I use to backlink my 2nd tier links (Articles, Web 2.0 properties). I mainly use social bookmarking and Mass article submission gigs for those. I don't think I'd ever trust a fiverr gig to backlink direct to my site. |

How do you guys go about checking the backlinks and if they work. I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to this, trying to learn a bit more. |

You can get some decent stuff there, but as was already mentioned you DO get what you pay for.

Fiverr is very helpful to my business. I could earn some bucks and then buy some stuff to give much traffic to my sites. We have two accounts there and I think if utilize effectively can give much impact.

Like with anything, just use common sense with Fiverr. Check the Gig Rating and the Seller Rating. Look to see how many orders are in the queue. And don't expect miracles for five bucks.

i think fiverr is like many other businesses....they use the $5 deal and hope to get you to spend more money later. It's a good way to introduce themselves to a new community of people...like the WSO's do the same thing. Just study the feedback and see how it works for you.

I've found some really amazing people on Fiverr. I was like, what are they doing on Fiverr? They are worth much more than that. I am not talking about SEO. I did buy 15 edu links and guess what, they were added to blog comments with 7000 (seven thousand!!!) spam comments already posted on that page. What a waste of time! I also bought a PR3 link, but the page dropped to PR2 a month later. My other experiences (buying content, art, music) have been great on Fiverr! |

So I suppose the message I am getting from this is Fiverr is good for everything BUT SEO? I guess I have been going about this all wrong. |
