Google is dropping your PR value!!

Has anyone else noticed? Sites that had a PR value of 4 and 5 have dropped to ZERO or n/a over night!

Whats going on???!!

Relax.

About two weeks ago, Google made a change to the location that 3rd party apps needed to interact with to pull PR. Most apps have updated their software. Some haven't yet.

Yours obviously fits into the second category.

But dear these days clients are willing for page rank alot.. i have a blog with zero post with page rank 3 lol.. just check googlewavetips.blogspot.com

Indeed they are. $40 for a link on the sidebar of the homepage on one of my PR 3 websites isn't too bad at all.

PageRank doesn't matter NEARLY as much as how high your site ranks in the search engine. So if you PR drops but you keep a front page listing, then don't sweat it!!

That is impressive you have a PR 3 with 0 post, I've seen sites with thousands of posts but have PR 0. Your blog is certainly unique sir lol

Page rank is not so important for traffic and keyword ranking so much not bother of it.

Check Google webmaster tool, see if you've done anything that annoyed Google..

Thats not what is happening, the tools that connect with google to find the pr of a site, needed to be updated, as google changed the location of the pr. tools that were not updated, were pointing to an incorrect location, finding nothing, and returning 0, as there was nothing to return, they were actually returning NULL and more than likely have a if statement that null = 0

so the pr of the pages didn't change, the tools just couldn't find it. once they are updated , they will get the pr from the correct location and the world will make sense again lol
