apparently all the links are found as likes. The page has high PR but the backlink method, is it useful?

Be careful with this... I tried it yesterday and I'm totally banned from tumblr. Can't even get to the home page.

It's link spam - if it doesn't get you slapped now - it will soon.

Don't waste your time on lame stuff like that.

Let's face it, no, you probably haven't.

This is how Tumblr's platform works
Take a good look around Tumblr and do some research....

You'll see that this works as a linkbuilding method AND passes PageRank

Sure, it'll dilute the PageRank passed over time....
...but this method works, and works well....

I don't think you will be penalized, but I think the benefit of these types of backlinks will be minimal.

I don't get it? The link just goes to a post with an image and a lot of links.
