Hi,
Considering advantages listed above , you can just go with Google Analytics.. If your site has good analytics score (low bounce rate, more page views per user) It will push in serp automatically... As google has control over your data... Thanks. |

I think yes it is still ok, but if you are looking for more real-time demographics of your site performance, I suggest to look for a stand alone pc base Analytics, like Chartbeat, Woopra and Engine Ready.

Yup. Google is king. I use seomoz and kissmetrcs to gain further data but not using Google is like running a car 100% on nitro.

It doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other. I frequently use both Google Analytics AND StatCounter on some of my blogs. I know that some people might think there would be some sort of performance degradation, but I haven't run into any problems. For some reason or another, Google just seems to be always lacking in some area or another for me. Their user interface is awkward and unintuitive. But like gushy said, it's always improving. |

I've tried a few other wordpress plugins to keep track of my site's traffic, but nothing has worked as well as analytics! |

Yep, Google Analytics is definitely the best. I use the Google Analyticator plugin and it's great - seamless. The detail that Google gives you is beyond any other system I've used - and it's free! ![]() Thanks Eleanor |
