Default heatmap - adsense optimized?

does anybody use heatmap on their wordpress blogs? i found it and it seems quite interesting to use with adsense. but again, i`m a newbie and i`m asking opinions on the experimented people around here

I've used it in the past, not bad. I preferred clickbump though when I used adsense.

Putting your ads above the fold and blend it is generally a good advice. If heatmap does that then yeah, it should be ok. There are other things to consider though, like page load time for example.

People read from left to right top to bottom. That is not rocket science.

What matters more than any template or layout is that you INVOLVE your customers in your site. If you can't do that it doesn't matter. If you make junk MFA sites then you had better worry a lot about putting a block of ads right where they will see them so in the 5 seconds they are looking at your site at least they can see something to click on.

Templates do NOT make the difference. You either know where to place ads or you don't.

NICHES make an enormous difference.

I use heatmap and it works fine.

I honestly think it's pretty ugly but the adsense integration makes me not switch. In the future I'll probably be switching to clickbump but heatmap is working for now.
