Whoa, Google is changing money, clicks, and page views!

Guys, over the past several days (despite the panda update which destroyed me) have you had your adsense account acting very funky?

I literally watched this morning my page views go from 85 DOWN to 22 an hour later. I've also watched clicks GO DOWN & money go down over the last several days.

Something is NOT right with google right now. Has anybody else had similar happen?

I've seen something stranger. The page views are down 75%
(yes, you read right, 75%) but the CTR and money is skyrocketing.

Either google (or me) is sending much more targeted traffic, or..
who knows?

I normally am not a traffic stat guy. Just a money guy. But
it just is strange...as it is a drastic change.

I am also seeing strange things in the adsense account. I think Google has finally made a mess of something in the Adsense code.

Yes, sure something changed, you are right guys, the same thing is hapenning to me, my sites didn't change the ranks but the clicks,page views and ad cost changed, less money is going to my account.

I think it's Google to be honest, part of their ''user experience'' thing. I've noticed the same thing, 30-40% CTR is not bad at all.

Sounds more like a reporting problem, which Adsense has been having lately. Sometimes you just have to wait for what's called a "click dump." In other words, the revenue part is up to date but the clicks/impressions part of the report hasn't updated -- so it looks like your eCPM or CTR is up. And then the page impressions part of the report catches up and then everything's back to normal. :-)

Some my observations from my account, number gotten from Google AFD
- 50% of my .co domains show error page
- Pageviews dropped 30%
- Clicks dropped 30%
- CTR are the same
- CPC dropped from tens of penny to penny --> Obviously they paid less
- Revenue dropped 80%
Hope that it is just a reporting issue...

That would be true for minutes and hours, not days turning into weeks.

I have never had google wait a week, then add a zillion more impressions
for every day the previous week. And I doubt I'll see that happen.

Sounds like you don't have enough sites using Adsense to make an assessment. You can't base what is happening to you as a trend if you only have a handful of sites.

I am not seeing anything out of the ordinary at the moment.

Perhaps Google now is starting to discount proxy visits? There could be many factors affecting this behavior, perhaps you want to try some new tactics and see where it leads you and your adsense earnings? I would love to learn.. =)

But I'M NOT talking about traffic.

I've seen clicks vanish. Like at 10am it will show 7 clicks and then at 11:30am it shows 3 clicks and less money?

I mean I understand if ranking drops money drops, but a click is a click isn't it?

It's happened i think your ads are not show up this time . Also others country people are not showing your ads. If your impression are also fine i think CPC rate are down but not sure
