My CPC Just Doubled

So a funny thing happened... I have a site that gets a little traffic (maybe 300 page views/day). It generates a CPC of about $1, pretty steady over the past 45-60 days.

Long story short I decided I wanted to upgrade the content on the homepage. It had an 800ish word article that was informative, but I wanted to take it in a different direction.

So here's what I did...

I wrote a 1200ish word article and simply segued into the old article in a way that makes sense. So now basically I have a 2,000 word article on my homepage.

The first 1200 words provide some very impactful and helpful information that anyone reaching the page will find valuable. Then the remaining 800 words basically provides background on the concepts in the first 1200 words.

So what does all this matter?

Well, today my CPC and CTR have basically doubled on this page. It's obviously just 1 day, but it's encouraging.

Like I said, I've got quite a bit of data on this site and it's never performed like this before.

Anyway - I'll be keeping my eye on it and see how it goes.

Well, I have been hearing of PANADA 2 updates, maybe it just favored you.
