Is Warrior signature links indexed?

Is Warrior Forum signature links indexed? A friend of mine said he posted 50 post over the last 2 months with a linked signature that never showed up in Google as a backlinked. I checked out a few other people's signature link and couldn't find backlinks as well.

Mine are. Take a look at this search: Let me google that for you - and notice the Warrior Forum results.

Anyway, if you're using WF for backlinks, you're missing out on a lot. If you still want to use it for backlinks, I recommend that you buy access to their Article Forum.

Yes, they are indexed and I agree with the post above.

Yes the signatures appear as backlinks but remember where you are. You are in a forum where people try to replicate IM success so make sure you understand that whatever link you choose to put as your signature here risks a higher probability of people copying your idea than it would in say a coupon sharing forum.

I chose proxies because a lot IMers use proxies. So both mine and Britt's signature makes use of the forum traffic rather than using the signature as a backlink.

It is a dofollow forum I believe.

Even if the sig links are not DOFOLLOW by any chance, I get regular traffic as well as sells from my WF sig links. WF is a place with real people with real problems and solutions. Which means pure organic traffic. Keep this benefit in mind as well while posting.

Britt, Mary, and Melissa,
Have you actually checked that your signature link is being indexed? I don't want to burst your bubble but your signature links is not showing up as a google backlink. Mary, I've noticed you've made 503 post and yet no WF backlinks. WF is a followed forum but for some reason, the signature links are not being followed in many cases. Some people's signature links are being followed but many are not. I know the links in the body of the messages are being followed every time.

Mike, just checked my links in Spyglass. Warriorforum is there as a Yahoo link.

Google doesnt show all indexed backlinks. Its been like that for quite some time.
You can go to yahoo site explorer and get a better idea, or use seo spyglass to get an even more accurate idea of how many backlinks you truly have indexed.

I agree with the posters above as I have had other links in my sig indexed.

This is very interesting. Yahoo is indexing WF signature links. Google indexes the WF links in the body but not the signature links. Hashbury, I don't believe it is the case that google is not showing all the index backlinks because they are showing backlinks from the body everytime. Google must have an algorithm that excludes the signature urls. I guess they can easily do that because the signature area would have a different tag than the body. Does anyone else experience this no follow signature url with other forums?
