Default Trying to build a list

So I finally succumbed to the 'build a list' mantra. My Aweber account just notified me of a payment, and I have two people on one of the lists I set up. So I am really killing it by sending traffic to the pages with AdWords. Fortunately I have not spent a lot of money. So I am guessing my ads must suck.

I don't really know what to ask now I have started this post. If anyone wants to check out my sig and tell me if I am crazy or not, I would be open to that. I was trying to decide whether to try and sell that package for $1 or just give it away for a sign up. And I came down on the side of sell it for $1 so I have a buyers list and not a freebie list.

I think I should have stuck with Google News, but I figured I could build another site and so I sold the one I was making good money with. But that is what I get for doing my own thinking. Never could get another one approved, and the dumb ****e that bought my site got it de-listed pretty quick for blatant breaking of the rules.

I think you need to tweak the squeeze page.

Just looking at the page real quick, it looks like the same product, repeated over, & over, & over...

Make each software box a unique image/color & alternate the box/description-text from left to right, so the descriptions don't run the full length of the page.

Also change the price to something like $7, $17, $27...

Just my 2 cents.

When it comes to software...I think some short video tutorials on how to use the software and make money with or how to help you with your business....

would make the bundle more attractive.

I agree about making each software box unique

Why don't you offer free with optin first. May be a popup. First the audience will take your free gifts....may be 5 or 6 of them.....Personally I loved your site. Just was too lazy to spend $1 (lol). But if some of them were free, I would've taken them in exchange of my mail id. Then the thank you page of your opt in should take the audience to the other paid offer.

LOL Sure you were too lazy, or was it too cheap?

The purpose of this wasn't to make money, but to build a list. Here is the auto responder page, just sign up and you will be taken to the download page. All I ask is that you give me feedback on the process and how I can improve that. OK?

Hi Tim
I agree with Yukon in the presentation of your sales page
but I also think that you have missed a vital point of salesmanship.
You have totally destroyed any perception of value that the product
might have had.
I concede that you are trying to build a list but you also have
some worth in what you are offering . I can say that because I bought one of the
products years ago when it was first released and paid a considerable
sum for it. I also own most of the other products on your site.

The impression I get when I go to your offer is one of cheapness and
I would click away I really don’t need 2 dozen cheap software packages

My strategy would be to select just one of the products, take the header
from your sales page and a graphic of the product and your auto responder
script and If you can a short video as sonic74 suggests and trying to keep it all above the fold make your free offer for that one or perhaps two products.

When you get a sign up take them to your sales page offering
the rest of the products for whatever amount you decide on.
Then on your download page thank them profusely and make another offer for one of your other products. Then you will be building two lists one of free surfers and
one of buyers (hopefully)
Regards
Milton

I can't figure out why the list is not active. Everything looks ok, but I only get 92% completed for some reason. I will have to check with Aweber when they get out of bed.

I guess it is a good job my PPC is not getting any impressions or clicks.
