Dripable question

Is there a benefit to using a url shortener? Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of using dripable since none of our actual links are getting backlinks because they are being redirected through a URL shortener?

Anyone know the answer? I submitted a ticket at dripable 2 days ago and still with no response. Looks like I will be switching to DFB with this type of customer support
