A lot of people will build thousands of backlinks to their site and at the end they don't see any change with their sites rank. sometimes their page rank may even drop. From my experience no matter how many backlinks you build to your site as long as you didn't optimize your site with ON PAGE FACTORS, they won't work. so if you want your backlincks work then "on page factors" are the first step. when you're done with that then build your bakclinks by following the rules below" -Make sure your links are from different ip address -Your link building speed should look natural -Your links sources should be from different sites -Your links should not come from links pages. avoid pages with more than 50 outbound links -Don't build your links on home pages only. try to link to different pages -Your links frequency should vary -Use diffrent keywords as anchor |

Absolutely. On page is important. You should try to stay "textbook" all the way around. Quality content, quality on site SEO, quality backlinks.

I love it how people come up with crazy link wheels. Do you really need to go crazy like that?. Much easier to buy a couple of good links. Anyways, I've ranked sites for terms that were not even on the page. content is queen, links are king. |

Yes in fact I do need to go crazy like that. And honestly, this is one of the least complicated diagrams that I have integrated. So no need to get into a long discussion, but you have your way to build links. I have mine. Your way works. My way works. I have built high pr contextual backlinks by hand, and I have build pr 0 links through software. Like everything in IM there are multiple paths to the same goals. The question to discover are what methods work best for you. And my methods work for me. If I was hand building links I would still follow a similar link structure. But there is no way that I am going to build 10 million links per day by hand. Or even outsource the creation of that many hand built links. But now it relatively easy to push out that many links every day through automated software. And just so you know, by the time I am done my senuke blast pr's are much higher than n/a. That just means that they have not been indexed. When you throw a few thousand forum profiles, and a few thousand blog comments, and a few thousand of this and that, the pr's will zoom up. Especially since their are more tiers below designed to funnel maximum link juice to each tier and then the money site. So I wish you luck. I am sure that you are experiecing much success at your chosen marketing endeavors. But you should realize that there is not only one path to success. And I will tell you that after experiecing both ways, my current methods work much, much better for me. So more power to you if your methods work for you. But I bet you could be doing so much better. And you do not even know because you have been conditioned to respond a certain way to linking. |

Not likely mate. I've learn affiliate SEO (personal learning) and industry SEO, so trust me, I'm not conditioned. You're approach probably works for low competition terms and thats cool. The reason it looks too much in my eyes is you can get the same results if not quicker by just buying a few links. Yeah it may take you an hour to set up your link wheels but I prefer to get it sorted in less than 15 minutes and not having to worry about whether the page is indexed. So yes your method may work for obscure niche keywords but try using this approach for big keywords, it's not gonna work. I'm ranking my clients sites for the term "range rover evoque" (was ranking on page 1 but slipped to page 2, due to authority sites on top) and there's no way I could do that with low quality, profile, web2.0 links etc whether tiered or not. You need real links with authority/trust/age. In simple terms here are the best links: Links on pages with real PR (sitewide works) Contextual links on sites that have gained trust (brand new web2.0 won't cut it) Simple fact, for big hitting keywords, you need to leverage other strong websites. That's how I do SEO. | |

Hi Michael, You have piqued my interest. One because your entire response is arguing that you are conditioned. Your spouting a line that you have read, and I do not think that you have any experience with my type of linking And two, because I do not think you really understand what I do. Again, I have no doubt that your methods work. But I like my methods more. I do not participate in much linkbuilding anymore. Trust me, I outsourced that a long time ago. But my linkers do follow my blueprint and philosphy. So, since I am interested, I think there is some room for a case study here. You have given me a keyword that you have worked on. I'll take the challenge to see if I can outrank you. Let us truly see whose backlinking method works. I'll run the analytics tonight, and I will let you know what I think about a timeframe. If you outrank me, I'll forfeit my site to you. By the time I am done with it, it will be highly relavent, in niche, high pr site to add to your portfolio. I have confidence that your not going to beat me. But I believe it putting some risk on the line. Motivates me more not to lose. |

We don't necessarily need crazy link wheels to achieve desirable results when it comes to SEO. I've been doing one-way backlinking ever since and I can say that I'm impressed and very contented with the outcome.
