few basic questions from begginer

Hello guys

I've got few questions about getting backlinks to your site so...

Example: I've found about 600 forums (vbulletin) by using scrapebox, most of them (nearly 80%) are dofollow which is good right, but is it good if i will register on them and put my link into signature and profile ? yes, i know that is good but do i should do it for example 100 forums in one day ? or its better to split that list into 10 sites per day ? what am thinking is, split into 10 per day, register, try to post in some threads so they will not think that am spammer is that right ? and then can i use scrapebox and ping those links directing to my posts and profiles ?

one more question, backlinks increase your site rank in google search? Am I right?
