I think I was DE-INDEXED!!! Please HELP

Hey guys,

I have been working extremely hard on one of my sites for over a year now to move up in Google's rankings. I was on the first or second page for some very highly competitive keywords.

The only thing really keeping me from the top was backlinks. I hired someone from WF with a pretty good rep to do backlinks for me. This was about a week ago. Since then my site has dropped off from existence. I tried to be patient and see if it was only a day or two thing but it hasn't bounced back. Nowhere to be found.

If I type in site:http://MYSITE.com the main site does not show up but all of the other pages of the site (i.e. http://MYSITE.com/about) do. What does this mean? I have no warnings or errors in Google Webmaster Tools.

How can I get back? PLEASE HELP.

Give it more time. Id wait at least 2 weeks.

I hope you're not pushing ALL of your backlinks to your home page?

since 15 days i was facing same problem on one of my site, and friend, let me tell you frankly its not neccessory that google has put banned or slap on your site, after doing some data analysis i have found there is problem to access my site..

please check below things.

1. Go to google webmaster tool, and see in lab option you have option to fetch your website as google fetch it..
see there can google still access your home page?

second thing, if you get any error, then go to crawal section, there you will get more details about your site, in html suggestion google will give you exact error details,

In my case it was hosting company who banned google ip's range due to that google was not able to access my site, my site is still doing well in yahoo bing, and other search engines, but i m lossing 500 visitors every day from google...

What have you done differently in the past few weeks?

Any new linkbuilding techniques?

Did you add new content? Was it original....

Google won't deindex a website for fun, there's always a reason behind it. What was the reason behind yours?

I have seen some errors in my webmaster tool, for what should I do about it? Also, how does it affect my domain from being indexed/de-indexed from google?
