Sending pings in bulk can be considered as a spam??

I recently got a list of many websites for pinging...if I send pings to all of them in bulk...cann it be considered as a spam??
what precautions should i take before sending those pings??

Yes, it is detrimental to your SEO campaign. It will give the search engines that you are prompting that there's a new content or new links that you have generate thus giving your site an impression of being spammy or purposely lure search engine crawlers to your website.
