Default So I posted on a blog...

and ended up with some nice backlinks but how much is too much?

I posted only one comment, on a blog related to a website aimed for offline marketing in my area and so far im at 41 backlinks (10xPR3, 13xPR2, 15xPR1, 11xPR0 ).

This is a brand new site and I posted this comment 2 weeks ago..

This really isn't an issue. Many people build far more links to a new website. You really don't have a whole lot to worry about.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but only 1 of those links will stick (at most).

Look in the blog sidebar, you'll see the last 10 or so latest comments list.

Once you are number 11 (or whatever number they use) on that sidebar list, you'll end up with a single backlink on the actual page you created the backlink on.

Again, all those extra backlinks are temporary...

I've had 600+ backlinks from a single blog comment before, they all fade away over time, except for the original backlink.

^^ well that is my problem , i dont appear on any blog roll or side menu. I did a search on many pages from this blog I get links from however I cant find anything other than the comment section that is automaticaly filled with my infos.

I know you normally get many links when you get in the latest discution sidebar or in the blogroll but nothing to be found in my case. Actually, I did appear there but my comment disapeared from the sidebar after a couple of days. Now im still getting more and more backlinks even tho I appear nowhere lol.. I guess there is something I just dont understand yet about linkbuilding ;P

Traffic Travis report them all as DO-FOLLOW links.
