Default Question - Traffic For Site

I am estimating that when my product is launched:
1) A small portion of traffic might be from signatures
2) The biggest portion will be on Google search engines and other search engines (keyword and SEO)

I just want to ask, since mine is a health related product (squeeze page) and I intend to promote it big time. What are my other considerable options that can help boost traffic? Here is what I am still considering:

1) PPC ads (still thinking about it and getting your opinions from you guys on bidding and etc.)
2) Clickbank (still worried about their refund policy and from rants some people did recently, any better suggestions or comment about this?)

Is there any other suggestion you guys can give me or comment on the 2 things I mentioned about considering? Thanks!

Hi,

don't do ppc. You might see a pocket in your hole before you see money. What I suggest and I think this is the best route to take is to do JV. If those gurus who have a huge list like what you're offering, you might hit the jackpot here.

Good luck to your product launch.

You could try PPC just to see whether or not the ROI is there. Clickbank would be a good way to get some decent exposure if the product turns out to be a hit. I'd also suggest maybe finding relevant health blogs and websites that might be interested in posting about or pushing your product to their visitors.

Damn, I am confused! Two sides to this arguments, one of you guys said yes and no to PPC but to be frank I am considering PPC because who wouldn't want rates as low as 0.05$ per click? 20 visitors per dollar. John, about the blogs my friend told me he had a friend starting a health blog and doesn't mind promoting so yeah considering that too, thanks!

Jeffreys, JV seems good! I am still looking at my options, thanks!

For clickbank, maybe because I heard a lot of rants about it and how their refund policy isn't firm enough to earn them a steadier flow than they should be earning so I want to see more of your thoughts on clickbank if you had experience working with them.

PPC is bad! Unless you KNOW what you are doing. When I first started out I lost £500+ to PPC because I was too lazy to SEO.

SEO is everything

Alright since Super IM made some point there, I will just stink with free traffic tactics like JV, keyword density focus and etc.

I will most likely opt in for clickbank unless anyone here disagrees with me and have a better suggestion.

Keep those suggestions coming thanks

Unless you are really good at PPC, I wouldn't suggest it. People can lose a lot of money quickly with that.

I would suggest a joint venture.

I also recommend you join the War Room for all kinds of free stuff.

Good luck. :-)

I think PPC is a great idea when you are just launching the site. If it is something that is going to take off, having more eyeballs early on can help with organic searches if they bookmark or tell their friends about it. But if it is just a ho-hum site/idea, PPC may not be as useful.

Either way, limit what you are willing to pay for each click and bump it up a bit until google starts serving your ads. No sense overpaying for clicks. For my niche's I pay less than 5 cents per click which won't break the bank.

But then again, now that I think of it again, PPC can convert greatly if you have a killer high conversion sales letter and a solid product. In fact, I can just use 20$ max at a rate of 0.02$ per click and that will generate up to 1000 visitors and one sales could cover the whole cost for ads (I am planning to sell my product at 42$.) In fact, I don't understand how Super IM lost that much money! I guess it doesn't have to be a gamble if you convey your message properly about what you are offering to a targeted audience.

I mean I trust google adsense with their strict rules of no multiple clicking and etc for those who promote adsense in their sites. Moderate the amount you spend and it should be okay.

Thanks again for your suggestions, keep the suggestions coming if you have any.
