Default Yahoo Local Listing Help...

Hey everyone we spend so much time on Google that we deny Yahoo and typically Yahoo results slowly follow after Google but not in this case...

Does anyone here know, know someone or know some tips on how to get a higher Yahoo Local listing ranked higher???

I have never really worried about Yahoo on its own. I do make sure that submit my site to them through their submit site tool. I also make sure to go and submit my sitemap to Bing so that they have a copy in their webmaster tools. I have always seen that I do better at first in Yahoo and then catch up in Google. In my past experiences if you are doing well in Google, then you will have decent results in the other two major search engines as well.

Guys,
I think he is asking for local listing in yahoo not about directory submission. It is free service from yahoo. I it is depend upon reviews from visitors and your yahoo activities

Absolutely way too much time wasted on Google. There are certain demographics which use Yahoo and Bing and simply do not use Google at all.

Part of this is our fault for falling all over ourselves as marketers and knowing G was a great engine but soooo many use yahoo and Bing.

I really believe the process for Yahoo local and Bing Local is much the same for Places. Upload some pictures or any media they allow, dont keyword SPAM titles, get some reviews, backlinks, citations. Baby it...treat it well and it will grow.
