Can You Outrank Goolge Places ?

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone has been able to outrank Google Places / Maps ?..packs of 5 or more above the organic results..if so please share with us if it was easier or more difficult than product or niche keywords..I can rank for very competitive product keywords ..just never tried to rank for local search terms need advice please.

Yes, you can rather easily get your organic listing above the local listings, all you need is extra backlinks up until the point where you're above the local listings. Yep, it's that simple, I've done it many times before.

You can but it takes a little more effort when there are the places at the top. The main thing is just to keep working at it and show Google that you are strong and you are there to stay. Backlinks of course is one way of doing this. Once you have done that, they will reward you with that spot above the places.

Yes, you can. All you need is to build up decent and quality backlinks to the point that you have more link juice compared to Google Maps/Places. This will being you to the top spot.

Yes The Answer is Back links...You need to Create lot Of quality Back links For your Website Which you Want to Rank..Please Don't Stop to make back links of your website..

and If you want to come to Google places ..Then Video Creation and marketing is also Good for Listing Purpose..

So make new video and then Marketing it..

ywes you can do it, you need to create more backlink pointing to your site. You need to keep update content of your website and content must be unique and genuine.

Really?...i found it hard to outrank places listings. And the times i see a site outranking places, it's an authority site, a huge one.

I was getting ready to joke with you about "Goolge Places", then I did a search for it...My word...

Do you realize there are over 12 million pages listed for that misspelling?

But I'll bet it is easy to rank number 1...

So far.. I see some of you say yes and some say no..I have been able to find some local searches with organic listings above the Google places..but the number is no where near that of Google places ranking above the organic results :-(
