SEO SpyGlass Not Working?

I tried checking for backlinks but it show only a few which is weird since before I have many showing up. Is SEO SpyGlass broken? Anyone also experience this? Thanks.

your IP could have been temp blocked by google - I am temp blocked now - you can check the logs when SEO SpyGlass is running and you will see red sign saying FAILED next to the search engine in question. In my logs right now, I am seeing FAILED next to each Google fetching attempt. If you are seeing the same thing, wait for a couple hours and the block should go away.

another thing - if you are using proxies, they may have expired. Have SEO SpyGlass find new ones for you. Preferences - Proxy Rotation - Search and it will find proxies (they die pretty often though since they are free and public and heavily used - also dont pick the proxies on the top of the list - these ones get used and abused most - primarily by seo spyglass users who are feeling lazy and pick whatever proxies show up on top )

I think you have forgotten to mention, that SEO Spyglass has pulled their major backlink share from Yahoo SiteExplorer, which is shutdown now for ever. So SEO Spyglass was a nice tool, but now its nearly dead.
A good alternative is SEO Backlink Finder.

I am not used to use the seo spyglass. But i use the google analytics tool to track the backlinks. As through google analytics i can know that from which site , i have get how many backlinks and how it be helpful for my site.

SEO Spyglass is a software for backlink checking, but its not so strong anymore, because of shutdown of Yahoo SiteExplorer. I know only of 1 other desktop software, that can also check backlinks, that is SEO Backlink Finder.
