Hey guys, I've got a new content site that I want to eventually become an authority site. I am currently in the process of hiring full-time writers, and they will exclusively write for this news site. But before I hire them, I want there to be a few articles on the site as the Wordpress theme I am using will look silly without them ![]() Can I publish a few good articles from EZA on there temporarily until I can replace them with real ones? Right now, hiring these writers is holding me up from beginning my promotion strategy with Facebook etc, as there's nothing on the site. Will Google punish my site for having some Ezine Articles on there? |

It is up to you whether you want to replace the published Ezinearticles with new articles, or leave the published Ezinearticles intact and published more new articles - it works both ways. Hope that my advice helps. Thank you. Jaden J.

The Panda updates have been real harsh on duplicate content. You might get away with it, but you'd have to put a link to the ezine article which is not good for SEO. No matter how tedious it might be, you're better off writing the articles yourself or outsourcing them. I have tried some case studies with irrelevant domains, and content only. Fresh content always got me better results. Not sure if that will change when you replace the articles but i wouldn't suggest using EZA articles on your site. |

google will never care your website articles..it will reflect in ranking your webpage. If its genuine content you will get good position in google if not instead of penalizing it will throw your ranking after 50th result or so. This happens after google panda algorithm.

I would not suggest you put duplicate content on your site ever, if you have a plan for building an authority site. I would suggest you to write a quick few articles yourself(it isnt that hard) or if you really do not want to, at least spin the articles.

____________________ OP, I doubt your already ranking in the SERPs for your keyword, from what I've read so far. Might as well wait until your writers get the unique articles published for you.

Thanks for the responses, it wasn't what I expected but I'm glad I've found out before I did anything stupid. The general consensus is that I stick with original content only. Thanks, really appreciate it! |
